Geoff Hamilton: A gardening legend
On sale from the 4th August 2006, this comprehensive 132-page book will be written by two of the people who knew him best, son Nick and daughter-in-law Sue Hamilton. Tracing Geoff’s life from his birth in Stepney, East London on 15th August 1936, Nick and Sue provide hitherto, unpublished anecdotes and facts about this great man. Giving everyone the chance to follow Geoff’s early years in horticulture through to his work as a talented writer and magazine editor and of course during his career as Britain’s best-loved TV gardener.

I'm sure you'll all like it! (Though it's obviously not much of a secret now, so feel free to spread it around!)

Well i'm excited that your excited Mr Potato Head.
I thought Geoff Hamilton was probably one of the most approachable garden presenters we have ever had.
Actually i'm very like him in looks, good looking in a rugged looking way.
And i didn't realize until now that i share the same birthday as him.
I will definitely be ordering a copy, i wonder if it would get here in time for my birthday. :?: :D

Kind regards Old Herbaceous.

Mr Potato Head

Well, I have been reliably informed that if you order soon, they'll be despatched as soon as we get them back from the printers, possibly even before the official on sale date of 4th August.

I feel confident that you'll be having a happy birthday!
