Are Mercedes puddle lights worth upgrading?

I've been thinking about adding some custom features to my Mercedes, and I came across puddle lights that project the brand logo onto the ground. They look cool, but I'm wondering if they're really worth it. Do they add any practical benefits, or is it just for style?
