help I have got a kind of beetle in the flowers of my sweet peas, I was hoping to enter them in a local show next week till this happened. Has anybody got any idea how to get rid of them without distroying the flowers. Thanks Tracie.

Good morning Tracie, i think the beetles you are talking about are blossom bettle.
I'm sure i can remember an old friend who used to show a lot of flowers, saying if you cut and bunch your flowers, then stand them in a dark room with just a chink of light showing through a door or window, the beetles will leave the flowers.
The old boy is no longer alive, so i can't check on this for you.
If you do try this can you let us know if it works.
Kind regards Old Herbaceous.
