Having just used my dehydrator for the first time with a batch of strawberries in I've been walking round indoors in a wonderful waft of warm strawberries..it smells divine! Sure beats all those chemical puffing plug-ins they try to sell you!

Hi Herby,a dehydrator is like a small hot air blower with trays on top in which you can dry fruit, herbs, tomatoes etc. I got it as an extra way of preserving crops but the way the lads keep dipping in the jars of dried strawberries they wont be there for long! They come out like a chewy sweet with a very intense flavour.
