Well, I'm pleased to announce that we've made some important updates to our subscription system.

We're now able to offer a full online service. You can now order single issues and new subscriptions online, as before, but now you can also make changes and renewals. :D

Existing subscribers - please help!

We've tested the web access about as much as we can from this end... what we'd like you to do is try and check your existing subscription and make sure we have your correct details and if not, make any necessary changes.

Hopefully this will all go smoothly. If not - please let me know as a reply to this post!

Please be gentle, we've only just launched this, so there may be teething issues...

It was fine - quick response to my request for subscription number. Told me how many I had already paid for and when the next Direct Debit was going to be taken but didn't tell me when I had signed up until so I clicked on minor issues.

I tried asking for my subscription number and have been told that I can't be found... I didn't keep the magazine address sheet so I can't check until I get the next issue.

Worked OK, but overly keen to have my email address and it took at least an hour to email me my subscrption number (which may of course be blueyonder's fault :) ).

Hi Mr PH, I emailed and asked for my number at about 13:35pm and received a reply saying that my request was being dealt with at 13:49 but I've not had another email with my number on yet.

Mother-in-law paid for mine, worked fine though, on all counts and I did not have my number so had to look it up via the Surname & Postcode, with the e-mail back in seconds. :D
Do not put off thanking people when they have helped you, as they may not be there to thank later.

I have a meeting with Tower (the nice people handling our subscriptions now) on Friday, so will pass on comments.

They have only just taken over, so I'm sure it will take a little time to become familiar with our information - and by requesting email addresses means they can send out reminders by email and any special offers for KG readers - should you want them to.

Best thing to prpobably do is wait until the next issue is posted out to you, and then use our spanky new helpdesk (click subscribe above) to look up and check your details, and add in your email address if you wish. (You can also then change any communication / privacy preferences too)

Thanks to you all for the feedback so far.

I exist!

I've just had an email that says:

"Thank you for your recent email.

Advise that your reference number is .

INSTANT ONLINE CUSTOMER SERVICE
Should you require any further assistance, to check the status of a
subscription or amend your details, simply go to
www.subscription.co.uk/help and click on the appropriate magazine. You may also contact us at
kitchengarden@subscription.co.uk quoting email reference 123***78"

The problem is there was no reference number, it looked exactly as it does above and it was a while before I spotted it in the title of the email. As I did have an email reference (which I changed for this posting) I tried putting that in first (doh).

When I found my number and entered it everything worked perfectly :D

I think having the number in the text where the gap is would be a bonus though.
