Try them! No one else knows and believe me you'll never look back!
I've been known to wear thermals to work under my Next suits. :D

Pretty much like you Zena, jeans, T-shirt and fleece and some very comfy trekking-type trainers that were an absolute bargain being reduced from £40 to £10 in a sale about 4 years ago ( may have had something to do with them being very yellow!) An old, no longer waterproof anorak 'cos it doesn't matter if it gets any muddier. Wellies only in the very wettest conditions ie. when mud is up to ankle height as I find them really uncomfortable. No headscarf of hat as I get itchy but I have been known to wear a hairband in high winds which looks luvvly  it's also yellow (by sheer coincidence) and I nicked it from my daughter.

Hi All,

Hit a break in the weather today in full(ish) Cammo. 'Realtree' jacket. Fab new wellies by Muck Boot Co. (also realtree cammo) and an indiana Jones style hat. Wife went to bed still laughing after 2 hours.

The French Breakfast didn't see me coming tho!!!!

Stealth gardening!

Do not put off thanking people when they have helped you, as they may not be there to thank later.

Everyone's safe now Peter as the boob tube doesn't fit any more, but it did have an alarming habit of suddenly rolling down when I bent over which could be very very scary for anyone in the vicinity.

I do recall about 10 years ago when I was in my bikini lounging around in my garden when my neighbour called me over. I got up in a hurry and didn't realise that my bikini top wasn't up to the sudden movement. He got such a shock he didn't look where he was going and fell in his pond. He later insisted he tripped over something but my friend says it's because he was like a rabbit trapped in the headlights.

I've given up on such flimsy objects now, the world is a safer place with me in a polo shirt. :D

Hi Jopsy,
What an old square you will think no doubt but at this time of the year I am still wearing 'Winter Balers' and Steel Capped Boots and always a long sleeved shirt and a sleeveless jacket.
Winter Balers are lined trousers and when the time is right I wear 'Summer Balers'normal trousers. These are green agriculture/horticultural trousers and are exceedingly durable. I have far too much machinery around to not use foot protection.
But being likened to a Cabbage what can you expect. Now if you had said 'Mon petit Chou Cher' that may have been a whole lot better!!!

Jopsy, whats this you could see me and johnboy wearing longjohns. See you don't seem to get many romantic evenings. How about me and Johnboy waiting on you hand and foot, prancing about in longjohns. Thats the best i can offer.
Zena i always imagined you elegantly floating around your estate in a ballgown.

And by the way i don't wear a suit, just anything practical, sorry about that girls.
Don't think i had better say anything about Chantal's
b.t, i'll just leave it to my imagination

Kind regards Old Herbaceous.

Hey Compo

One of my brothers is a slaphead.

He says he's not bald, his ears have dropped.

Also says it's a solar panel cos he's a sex machine :o His wife started laughing at that

Told him it was too much info
Lots of love

Do you wear a bit of string round each leg to stop the rats going up?
I have to put on my school governor hat later on today and I have to look smart...oh dear..the choice is limited to say the least!
