No Jopsey, not being rude. I'm not really into fashion. I live in jeans, trainers/hiking boots and t-shirts. I must be the only woman in the world who hates shopping for clothes and shoes. I can't stand it. I'm bored rigid after 5 mins and ready to dive out of the shop!!!

I'd rather be comfy, with plenty of arm room for planting out etc

Nope Lizzie, I'm with you all the way there, I hate clothes shopping and so long as I have a load of polo shirts and jeans plus a fleece or two in my cupboard I'm happy. :D

Doesn't anyone else wear thermals? I live in them from October to - well I only took them off a couple of weeks ago and I'm not sure it was such a good idea!

Yep, Chantal that's me. I also wear thermals, including long johns!!!! You have to keep your bits warm.

Get some stuff from the flower shows. They do really good fleeces, waterproofs ect. I'd rather browse round a garden centre than shop for clothes. Ewww.

I haven't gone clothes shopping with my daughter for years. I just give her the cash and she goes herself. She's a nightmare.

Nothing too outrageous - just the usual jeans,t shirt & fleece (&wellies)-all muddy & scruffy! I do get the mick taken out of me, however, 'cos of the headscarves I wear to keep my hair out of my eyes. fortunately, i don't have to go any further than the back garden, so don't amuse anyone, other than the neighbours.

Yep, long johns. A bit embarrasing if you have a romantic evening planned, but effective at keeping the chills out.

Today I was mostly wearing...... baggy tracky bottoms, favourite old hiking boots and thick socks, with a t shirt and optional baggy sweat top when it gets cold, Keep my wellies and old cagoule in the shed for the wet stuff. Various hats as I am a slap head and need to cover up for the wet stuff or the ocassional burning stuff.

Shorts have been on this year, but back off again too cold n wet now.

Like Peter will resort to sandals and trainers if it is hot and dry on the plot and am only watering / light work.

Must have pockets for penknife / pack of seeds / phone for when DW (dear Wife) rings and tells me the grub I have grown is on the table ready to eat

Rarely take my top off!!

If I am not on the plot, I am not happy.........

Back two paces Lizzie, it's Jenny that wears thermals not me. My mother's always on at me to wear big knickers that will keep my kidneys warm! Fat chance! I have that extra layer of lard that keeps me warm in the cold weather
