Much to the embaressment of my wife & children I do not care much what I wear.

When gardening the rule has to be plenty of pockets.

Usually boots (safety type), army trousers (tie up ankles), t-shirt, barbour-type gillet, or padded gilet. When it gets warm, the trousers get dropped ( ) in favour of longish shorts and if not doing anything "sharp" or "heavy" then out come the sandals.

Do not put off thanking people when they have helped you, as they may not be there to thank later.

Sorry Chantal, I tend to have that effect on the ladies.

I normally wear one of my hand me down Frank Sinartra suits, and my ever faithful hobnail boots
I don't give a monkeys about fashion, it seems to go round so fast these days, if it's out of fashion today it will be back in in a few years time.
As long as it is practical i will wear it.
Chantal what on earth is a boob tube.

A boob tube is just an elasticated tube that goes up and over your boobs and stops there. No straps so wear it and pray...

I think that Herby likes to get the white suit out, medallion, chest wig and cuban heels  I bet Herby's the Tony Ferino of the lotties

Personally, I wear jeans, t-shirt and a bobble hat if it's a bit nippy. Also a fleece if needed. Instead of wellies I either wear hiking boots or horse riding boots as they are more comfy than wellies.

Besides, i'm built for comfort, not speed

I find my sombrero is excellent for keeping the sun off me when I am toiling on the plot....the rim does fill up with rain though and it can get a bit floppy!!!!
