It is a well known fact among farmers that combine harvesters never break down during the winter and spring but as soon as they are needed at harvest - bang, something major happens. Similarly, why is it that I have no back trouble throughout the winter but as soon as I start planting and sowing my back starts playing up. I simply do not understand it.

Wife's relatives found one harvest time they must have left water in the combine and the block had popped a bit out of the casting so they super glued it back in and completed the harvest.
I thought you were older than me - my aches and pains don't go away in the Winter, how do you do it?

I'm a lot younger (I reckon I'm the youngest on here, except maybe pod) and my aches and pains get worse over winter... I want to know the secret too

Edit
Scratch that, just been and looked, I recon I am the youngest person on here... When did 24 become a young age online? I'm used to being surrounded by fowl mouthed teens on the internet

With all my problems last year the ride-on mower has been sitting idle since July 2014.

Having got all the field gradually back into shape with the strimmer, I thought it about time to cross fingers and see if the ride-on was still alive. A drop of petrol, turned the key, and off she goes :)

Some serious mowing next week on the dry days that are forecast.
