That really is brilliant news, Alan, i'm so pleased....i suppose eyes are like a lot of things in life, we just take them for granted, until something goes wrong.
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

Great news Alan so pleased to hear all went well, I remember when I had mine done and the dressing taken off how bright and clean everything looked.

I'm just back from a lovely holiday in the I.O.W.

Everything is almost frighteningly clear!
Another 8 weeks and the left eye done and I'll be able to count the hairs on an ants back legs!
Great to be able to read again after months, just a pair of £1.99 reading glasses, as advised by the ophthalmology nurses!

Don't worry I didn't delete it, just moved it.
You know who you are.
Cash in a brown paper envelope and not a word to the taxman, or Alan gets copies.

Very glad to hear your operation went well. You'll be looking forward to getting your other eye done now. When my father had his done he was amazed by all the wonderful colours. He had to wait such a long time for his operations that he could hardly see at all, and funnily after he had had them both done they sent for him to have another one done. He went round muttering about not being a"bloody cyclops" for a few days after.
