Hello everyone, after a long lapse I hope it's alright for us to join in again. Hubby is busy renovating this old property though, amongst other things, but has changed some of the garden around to give the two raised beds a lighter position.
So for this month at least I will try to contribute something sensible on occasion, hopefully. :) (Mrs) 2ofus

Yes more contributions always welcome. It sometimes gets a little quiet on here. Perhaps that!s because everybody is now busy out digging, sowing and planting ,

Thank you for welcomes Primrose, Monika, and oldherbaceous and yes, progressing with renovation now, thanks. I haven't written to an internet forum before and always loved writing with pen on paper in the old 'school style'. Hubby said, just try not to go off topic! (Does he think I'm a bit of a rambler then). Like to comment on the 1950's one but see it's slipped down the list a lot, though many of our memories, both good and not so good are from the decade earlier. See you in the garden soon. :) :)

Welcome back, we haven't met before.

There is no reason why you shouldn't comment on it even if it has slipped, your contribution might give it a new lease of life.

The danger when people start to believe their own publicity is that they often fall off their own ego.

At least travelling under the guise of the Pa Snip Enterprise gives me an excuse for appearing to be on another planet

Well I hope you will find time for some vegetable growing this summer rather than spending all your time acting as labourer' mate........and making him cups of tea of course!

Primrose - He was near the top of a rather ricketty pair of steps cleaning the bungalow gutters. I said, I don't like you up there dear! He thought for a moment and said, that's upsetting but I hope you still like me when I'm down there. :D
