Gave the plot a big swerve today as Mrs Snip treated me to a boat trip along the Thames.

A most enjoyable day, which didn't even get slightly ruined by the fact that just before departure the boat suddenly filled with a coachload of French 13 >14 year olds whom it was obvious frankly did not give one iota what was
'now coming up on the port or starboard side of the boat'.

The danger when people start to believe their own publicity is that they often fall off their own ego.

At least travelling under the guise of the Pa Snip Enterprise gives me an excuse for appearing to be on another planet
