We will be at Malvern today, Saturday, as early as possible. We ignore the flowers, if you can't eat it then don't grow it. Spending money is down yet again owing to economic pressures, but new on the market is a Bayer rendering of 5 litres of Glyphosate with an electric spray pump as a free gift, I have already purchased one and it's a real find for the sufferer of arthritis. Replaceable batteries, 2 AAs. should last for years with care. A £3 cashback is included with months to expiry date. I do hope the little sprayer makes it to the market without 5 litres of weedkiller every purchase, best gizmo this year.
If you see aan elderly couple, natural blond wife, pushing a pram frame that has just luggage it's probably us. Magic words Kitchen Gardens for a quick "Hello". We woll be wearing identity tags, TKG on them also Crwys in red with green border
Enjoy your visit, all the best for the Sunday party.

Dear Allan and Pam, hope you both have had a very pleasant day. And also a safe journey home.
Hope your pram frame stood up to it's task, and didn't have a blow out or something worse.
I suppose you will be back to the grind stone tomorrow, or do you go to church on a sunday like me?
Kind regards Old Herbaceous.
When i'm not fishing i'm mending my nets.

It's back to 'work' tomorrow. If I say that we spent the best part of £100 on 'bargains' and that I was nearly on my knees when I got back to the car that indicates that it was all worthwhile. Highlight of the whole affair was a face-to-face with Matthew Harrison at the Northern Polytunnels exhibit. Matthew and I work on Polytunnels-chat e-mail. The new hobbyist tunnel is very impressive and good value but quality doesn't come cheap. If it were many years ago I would be sorely tempted.(See Nothen Polytunnels online for details, pictures, customer feedback)
I was surprised to find nothing about the Bayer pushbutton weedkiller other than a poster, but will watch for its reincarnation as a stand-alone sprayer.
I saw the stand advertising 'that other magazine' all one can say is that it's really time to plan to do similar but better for our own magazine next year, perhaps combined with factual stuff about vegetable growing and of course the Forum.
Many bargains such as siphon pumps 2 for £1, Special chuck kit for drill to put screws in easily plus combined glass cutter and other goodies £20,(RRP around £40) 4 extra large gravel trays £22, 2 kneelers @£1 ea.,new sandals £15, miniature keyring toolkit £1, 4 cooker gas cylinders cheaper than anywhere else, kit 700 O-rings £6, 2 scoops @£1 ea.etc.
Hint for tomorrow, wellie boots, there is mud around after today's downpour.
p.s. How did you know, a wheel fell off the pram just a few yards short of the car. It needs a new circlip/cap device.
