I started digging over the allotment at 7.30am this morning, and just got the two sections finished that i wanted to do, before it started to rain. So at last i am nearly there....quite a nice feeling, i have to say.

Likewise with the rain up in Lincs...started forking over the yellow border...stopped by rain at 9am, exactly to forecast, so then it was potting up rooted cuttings and pricing up lawn mower parts ......there's a lot more digging to do yet.

Its just brightening up here....after a rather damp morning to say the least.. 
Need a few drying days like yesterday....Broad Beans sown in the South facing vegetable border as last job of the day yesterday....
Only a few seeds in the propagator so far, some own collected seeds of herbaceous perennials..."to test the water"...before getting into main seed sowing...although the West end of the main conservatory is tidy and ready to accept the seed pans as they exit propagator...even though they are not yet in the propagator...

No, OH, I haven't sown my celeriac yet, but it's at the top of my "to do" list, together with sowing sweet peppers and chillies. Tomatoes I don't usually sow until nearer mid-March because they shoot up so quickly and get rather drawn by the still low light levels.
I will report when I get them sown!
We went to Harlow Carr yesterday and bought some wildflowers to plant near the edge of our newly-cleaned garden pond (cowslips, ragged robin and snakeshead fritillaries) and also several alpines (mainly safrages and thymes) for our newly-refurbished rock garden - you see, we have been busy!!
I will report when I get them sown!

I hope that Spring is just around the corner - my frogs are waking up in the pond. Everything is stirred up this week so we should have frog spawn very soon.
I am joining the club:
sowed today celeriac Monarch
sweet pepper Antohi Romanian (recommended by and bought from DT Brown)
chilli pepper Hot Cayenne
leek Musselburgh
leek Oarsman
mixed salad leaves (just in a pot for early leaves)
It's lovely and warm in the greenhouse when the sun shines (and the hyacinths are smelling beautifully), but the wind is still jolly chilly. There has not been one day this February with the maximum temperature into double figures.
