Celery

This year for the first time i have grown celery which is a self blanching variety but am a little unsure what to do during its growing period i.e does it have to be earthed up? The plants are around 4" tall and i am about to plant them out - can any one advise please.. thanks

G.I.B,if its self blanching i dont think you have to do anything,but your best waiting for more replies.
