OH
They used to say the camera never lies ................... and In this case it was just a question of angles
coupled, I suspect, with the fact the greenhouse panels were ribbed polycarbonate not glass

Wow Pa Snip - Looking good!
I love looking at other's allotments, spot all sorts of things for ideas which is why I like nosing through the magazine. Would be great to have a photo section on the board index & then post seasonal pics. Would emphasis the differences we have in the different regions despite the season, the seed choices we make so could compare, the rotation we use with limitations to space, companion planting, under planting, quirky features etc. And of course as it's a forum we can ask questions almost directly to find out more.
I love my allotment but it wouldn't match up to many of yours but that wouldn't discourage but encourage me. Would like seeing some of the 'big houses, farm, patios etc that forum members are responsible for as well!

Dear OH. you're not the only one, regarding putting photos on here...I've only once managed it and some kind soul re-sized it for me. Never been able to do it again.
Pa Snip, your plots look wonderful!

OH, posting pictures on here is a little bit of a rigmarole but easy once you do it on a regular basis and can remember which bit you have to click next.
Over the years I have found the method of uploading of pictures to different websites, and ease/difficulty of doing so, to be highly variable
Are you saying you have a general problem overall or is there something specific you have trouble with.
I am no expert on the subject but if I can be of any assistance, to you or anyone else, don't hesitate to ask by way of a PM if you wish.

Thank you Elaine,
Right now the plot looks awful to me. Bare and awaiting my proper attention as soon as spring arrives.
I confess I have thought about posting some pictures of how each section of my plot looked on the day I took each part over with a comparison of more recent pictures.
Same applies to you Elaine about my offer to OH, or anyone.
Resizing, first step check to see if you have Microsoft Paint installed on your PC.
I use Adobe Photoshop, but that is for business reasons.
There are other free progs also available

Thanks for that kind offer, Pa Snip... it was quite a while ago when i last tried...it might even have been when i updated my Avatar....i think it might have been a resizing issue.
I might have another go, when i'm in a exceptionally patient mood.

Not sure if this is a burning issue, but I was certainly fuming. I went to get some gardening gloves out and found eight left hand gloves and no right hands. My partner has the stupid habit of just using a right hand glove on the rare occasions that he does any gardening and never puts it back again. I find them in the compost, among the shrubs and various other places around the garden, and by then they are usually in an advanced state of decay.
I suppose I could sew the pairs together with a length of tape like my mum did when I was little.

Oh Plum
I can well imagine how infuriated you feel.
Have you thought about moving just his left shoes when he takes them off

Good idea Pa Snip, I can just imagine what chaos that would cause when he is getting ready for work
