Re the aircraft sightings...I've been thrilled to see the BBMF four times so far....love the sight and sound of these wonderful aircraft. Not seen the Vulcan  though. I wanted to go to the Waddington Air Show this year to see it but the entry fee was far more than we could manage at the moment. I love the Vulcan...when it turns away from you and you've got the afterburners facing you, the sound is wonderful...it vibrates in your chest. Thrilling stuff! Love jet noise!

Well Bertha veered more westerly than they said she would but had intermittent blasts of wind which were very strong. Haven't been to check lottie but expect a bit of a mess going on down there but nature recovers. Blew a gladioli straight out of the ground at home with it's stake still tied to it right down the length of the garden almost to the back door so was a bit breezy!

Some great rain at last - this will fill the drums on the allotment! It's windy too but, as yet, not extraordinarily so.

I'm afraid you've stumped me there robo!
I can't remember us losing a village; we're normally so careful with them

I hope the weather is nice for the wedding.
