Morning Codger, now if you were to bring a torch out, i could be digging now... :) I'm going to try and get another big lump dug today, and then i will be getting on top of it a little. More rain forecast for tonight, so that's a little annoying.
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

You seem to have a good setup there, OH and OC! Wish I could join you, but all our allotment is already dug - you see, beaten you there!!!

Beautiful sunrise here this morning and not a scrap of fog.

I thought Codger was being very nice to me this morning, then he said he wanted a hand to put some fence-posts in..... :)

Great banter from you two - OH and OC.
Reminds me of Statler and Waldorf but not so disagreeable.

I must admit, it is nice to be back over the allotment, so we can have our little battles. :)

I suppose codger has now gone for his afternoon sleep. :)

I don't get time to sleep OH. I have just reduced the size of my chicken run so I have got some more garden to dig,be ideal for more early potatoes. It was lovely out there in the sunshine

I haven't been out playing mud pies either. It was briefly better yesterday so I sheeted over the potato bed I dug before Christmas. I would have preferred it drier so I'll have to hope it will dry out by draining so I can plant first week of March. I bought my seed potatoes from Gordon Rigg last week and they look really good; Swift (I usually grow Rocket but thought I would see if these have more flavour), Charlotte and Picasso (also new to me).

Decided to do a couple of hours digging down the plot this afternoon, but it is hardwork when you have to wear chest waders
