Sorry, OH. By my calculations you'll have to wait till 10th February next year before it gets lighter earlier than today. :( :(

Dear Alan, since i hold your calculations in high regard, that's news is a little sad, and to make it worse, i don't think you caculated for the time i posted, which was 4.53am, so seems to make the situation even worse..... :)
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

On 10/2/14 it will be as dark at 4.53 am as it was at 4.53 am today :( :( :(

A bit more calculation: it won't be light at 4.53 am till about the second week in May :( :( :( :(

Snowdrops not doing so well this year, only one flower at present with a second chewed by something :( Are they running late.? or was it the Box bush that leant over their patch 'til I trimmed it up.
One rescued after being dug up last year is just appearing in its pot.

I wonder if they are reginae-olgae..??

..and tomorrow I have a threat of a tooth extraction.... I have an email to attend a clinic in Skegness and a letter telling me the same appt and time at their Boston branch. :? The letter and email tells me to only call Lincoln office as only they deal with appts....and not to call a clinic direct.

..and NO, I am not attending the Milton clinic of alternative dental practice .!!

Strange about the Snowdrops, Clive, our late ones look as if they are going to be very early this year. Regarding the varieties of Snowdrops, i'm afraid to admit, i'm not that knowledgable on them, and that seems to go with a lot of things in my life, but it does seem to make things easier at times. :)

I was telling a young lady the other day, about the Milton Clinic and there money saving techniques, and she went very pale indeed. :? :)

Thank you Monika. Yes, it went ok... They were very good. After a series of phone calls this morning we established that I definitely should be at the Skeggy clinic....and was offered an earlier appt time...= less worry time. :)

They soon had it crunched up and yanked out. ..and on its way to the scrap yard.?..by the amount of metal in it. NHS spec metal not Gold I add.

I was also very pleased that having filled in the medical history form that in their pain killer recommendation they had picked up on a problem that I could have with one of the recognised regular listed ones. :)

Soup for tea followed by Rice pud...

Well I did chew on some choccy.. carefully, on the other side...after tea.

You would be most welcome Old H'....and a stay down the Orchard would help the budget funds too......

We could even provide a home from home wheelbarrow.

I probably should just make it a long weekend to start with as, i think a full week of me on a first encounter would even be too much for a Saint. :)

Got my thicker socks out ready for the cooler temps tomorrow.
