Overnight 8th/9th we hsd a few sheds prised open nothing tsken.

Last night between midnight and 7sm thirteen sheds were got at, no one lost anything except me. Me the site agent who tells new tenants not to leave anything worth stealing on site. Prised open a two lock solid wood door in a concrete shed using a spade, same technique worked on eight wooden sheds, kicked in the metal shed double sliding doors and were defeated by two sturdier wooden sheds.

So I've lost one knackered strimmer I got off freecycle, that needs fuel dripped into the air intake with the filter off before it'll start. They left the two old rotary mowers.

Oh yes and the brass letterbox flap off the door of my concrete shed!

Very helpful PCSO now has a gate key, neighbourhood team already has the cemetery key and has promised to wander through the site, our hedge and tree cover is better than it used to be.

I suspect idiots, portable power tools and all drawers and tins opened, or those of the travelling persuasion, brass letterbox. Haven't a clue really, but very odd selection.

Sorry for you Peter, I know how it feels. To be honest they will take anything they can flog on, after all it's cost them nothing has it? But do allotment sheds really look like the richest pickings... as you say; idiots.

Metal is a prize acquisition isn't it? We had a dustbin type burner that had a burnt out base which was stolen. Could only have been for the metal content.

Thing is the two mowers are both Hayters, aluminium deck, B&S engines, largely aluminium, both left. So unless they threw the letter flap a good distance or deep into cover.....

We're assuming they didn't have transport or hand tools would've gone and couldn't see a way to get the mowers out due to shinning over the gate.
