On Saturday, to cut a long story short, the dogs and I got through a field of cows that didn't like dogs, to find ourselves in a field with a second lot.
We had to wade a river and climb an eight foot far bank to get away safely.

Max wasn't bothered, Sally hated it - she doesn't do swimming voluntarily, I was soaked up to my waistband. :?

They dried out, my shorts were still damp when we got home over two hours later.

Hoping for rain this week, it really is needed now. All the broccoli heads are cut now but the plants refuse to put second growths, in spite of watering them. We could do with 24 hours of gentle rain - some hope. Presumably when it does come, it will pour down and all run off !

Hi Monika

According to the forecast you can expect plenty of wet later in the week, though the phrase "torrential downpours" doesn't sound like what you are hoping for :(

Oh yes - the Ying with the Yang - the Good with the Bad! Had a great amount of rain down here last night - about 5 miles away! Tonight is supposed to be our turn but it has cooled down too fast - but all critters in so maybe! :?:
