Just recently got back from two weeks in Seefeld, Austria. The first full day, I spent 7 hours in Innsbruck cardiac clinic having various tests. It seems that I have angina, so I'm now waiting for an angiogram and then whatever happens after that. Probably a stent.
Of course it means that I have to take it easy on the allotment, so any heavy work will just have to be left, unless I can badger somebody to help!

Just to add to that, poor old Monty, the Parsons Jack in my avatar, was put to sleep today. He was approaching sixteen.

What an absolutely shitty year this is turning out to be.
Cheers PJ.

I'm just off down the greenhouse. I won't be long...........

So sorry - you must be so gutted! It is a good age but that gives no comfort - well only a little bit! So sorry PJ - sent from a fellow pet owner & lover of these strange critters that annoy, dig in wrong places - but love us unconditionally & we laugh instead of scold!

You'll be (health wise) fine - NHS is well ahead in cardiac intervention! Good Luck & best wishes for speedy recovery!

I am so sorry to read your news, not only about Monty, he always makes me smile when you post something but also about your own health scare.
Having a season ticket for the cardiac clinic for several angiograms and stents over the years, there really is nothing to worry about, the bruising afterwards smarts more :)

Morning PJ, so sorry to read about Monty, we certainly do get attatched to our pets. Still miss my dog after all these years.

Also sorry to read about yourself, let's hope they soon get you sorted, and that you are firing on all cylinders again soon.
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

Hi PJ, so sorry to hear about your troubles. I'm sure you'll be fine once they've sorted the angina. And losing Monty is gutting, I know how I feel when I lose one of my pack. My first ever dog was a jack and she went to within a week of being 17, springers don't get quite as far. Will you get another?

Parsons Jack. Trust you make a speedy recovery. Re Monty. Being a Jack Russel man also, when our JR passed away late last year,[ Dolly the second.] it broke our hearts, still unable to get into the mood to replacing her. :( :(

Thanks for all the nice comments :)

Early days yet to think about getting another dog, but wouldn't be surprised if we did. Have to get my health sorted out first.
Cheers PJ.
