I apparently run the equivalent of at least seven marathons a year, so why am I not skinny?

I know the feeling, Chantal. it must be our genes! I do all that gardening (with digging my most favourite occupation), I swim, walk, do aerobics and pilates regularly and don't eat 2000 beefburgers a year ( as it says in the article), and I could still do with losing a few pounds ...

Sadly what the article doesn't feature much is all the chocolate and biscuits we reward ourselves with after all that labouring effort.
I've come to the conclusion that halving normal food portion sizes on a regular basis is one of the few consistent ways to lose weight. The more I exercise, the more hungry I seem to get !

There are answers to that question, but if I gave them you might never speak to me again.

However I could ask myself the same question.
Do not put off thanking people when they have helped you, as they may not be there to thank later.
