All my fruit trees are coming into blossom (Plum Beauty is in full flower)! But only insect I've seen so far is a solitary fly! Not boding well for a decent crop if temp doesn't rise soon, but not expecting droves following such a bad couple of seasons. Paintbrush at the ready then!

Anyone seen any pollinators?

I saw a Small Tortoiseshell butterfly this morning. Other than that, absolutely nothing :(
Cheers PJ.

Yesterday was sunny and almost mild here and the wind not bitter, but still didn't see any insects. At the National Botanic Garden of Wales last Tuesday none of the hives showed any sign of activity whereas the previous week 5 hives had been buzzing.

Today the bitter wind is back with a vengeance and it is cloudy!
