Hello Westi.
This is one of the sites I use for a seven day forecast, like any forecast only three days is fairly reliable. Once established on your PC any area forecast in the UK at the click of a button. I'm an old sailor so keep an eye on wind and weather every morning without fail.

How are you supposed to start and maintain a healthy lifestyle if it completely removes a wine lover’s reason to live?

just had a quick look , first impression is they are trying to give too much detail... then noticed thurs and friday this week for us theyre forecasting significant rain and mist at the same time which seems odd
this is the one i use
http://uk.weather.com/weather/10day-Somerton-UKXX1513
its vague enough to be reasonably accurate on the next couple of days.... but in my view forcastes for a weeks time should be viewed as an indication of general trends rather than an accurate detailed hour by hour forcast.
best bet is to look at several sites and then pick one that suits you

Well it ended up with us having a huge frost from 5 am onwards, resulting in black ice on all the roads. This has virtually ground Bedfordshire to a halt on all roads including the M1.
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

Cold, wet and miserable
and that's just me
.
Seriously though, I sincerely hope that this weather is the forerunner to a gloriously hot summer (but not too hot and no hosepipe bans please

speaking of birdsong OH, we have one in the tree outside our house which does a marvellous impersonation of a police siren. what could it be? (the rest of the song is very blackbird like)

Dear Retropants, it could well be a Blackbird doing the police siren, as they do copy sounds.
We used to have one round our way that copied my whistling, it used to trick everone into thinking that i was going to suddenly appear.

Whichever of you start it, please ensure it's called something like "Early yet-another-lousy-summer bits and bobs". After all, the weather might just decide to play awkward and prove you wrong like it did on this one

Dear Alan, looking at the weather you are likely to get over the next couple of days, i think we better struggle on with this Bits and Bobs.

Well, just posting my last post seems to have worked for here at least - warm sun, only snow on mountains, fairly fine forecast
