Just dug up 10 very good parsnips. Much easier than usual as the ground is so waterlogged that they just sort of slipped out. But no chance of doing anything sensible outside elsewhere. Frogs starting up in the ponds so cleared out some of the weeds and scum before they get too settled. Crocuses appearing in the front and the primulas still surviving after 10 days covered with snow. As for ordering seeds, etc., am way behind. And the greenhouse still hasn't been cleared out and the molehills - inside greenhouse! - dealt with. Perhaps Jeyes fluid might persuade him to go elsewhere. Even inside the fruit cage - sort of dismantled by the snow - there some huge molehills.

Evening Colin, you are not alone regarding Moles, Milton Bryan is being over-run by the velvety jacketed Gentlemen. And they are massive mounds here too.
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

Hi Colin, Cant wait to get into our plot, not done anything for ages. I had a lot of plants in pots outside and because I lost quite a few in the bad weather a couple of years ago I planted them in the border in the polytunnel. So they need moving when the weather gets better then I need to do a wash over the polytunnel to clear the green off it.
As for moles we are over run with the blessed things. Just when you think they are under control they sneak back in.
I am hoping to sort my seeds out by the weekend. And choose my potatoes to grow.
