Nibbled leeks

Can't identify that mould? Got a great tip for keeping slugs at bay? Suggestions for organic weed control? Post them here...

The tops of several leeks look like they have be eaten off! There are rabbits around, but they can not easily get onto my plot, or am I wrong!!

I think you are wrong, BS. Rabbits love nibbling leeks (and onions for that matter). Even if your allotment is surrounded by wire netting, bear in mind that rabbits can climb and baby rabbits can squeeze through quite small holes.

I think you are right. A lot of young ones around at the moment and there may be a few small gaps in my fencing!! Didn't think they would like leeks and onions though!!
