I am praying that the weather holds as himself has taken the next 2 weeks off and is all set to strip, prime, fill and paint the body panels and bulkhead of his beloved Series 2 Landrover. He is desperate to get her back on the road (she's been dismantled and stored invarious parts of the house, sheds and garden for 18 months now) and had planned to do the respray back in April but as luck would have it the glorious weather we had been having broke the eve of his holiday and we had freezing temperatures and torrential downpours for the entire duration of his holiday and his mood matched the weather!!!
He has just gone off in my Series 3 Landy to spend a not so small fortune on Zinc Primers, paint removal discs, sealers and fillers and plans to start the bodywork when he gets back.
As his not so small workshop is packed to the gunnels with all manner of 'junk' (his junk BTW not mine) he'll be doing the respray on the back patio area, so we need dry, hot weather with no winds - just for a few more days please and then some rain would be most welcome
