Cred air o bob deg a glywi, a thi a gei rywfaint bach o wir (hen ddihareb Gymraeg) Believe one tenth of what you hear, and you will get some little truth (old Welsh proverb)
Poor creature!. When he arrived here he must have wished he'd packed his raincoat and thermals. But he's a pretty fellow. Glad he's now got a new safe home. Don't suppose he would have survived long in the wild if he's from a hot country, and he would have been very lonely without a mate? Or would he have tried to mate with one of our native breeds?
I don't know whether frog species interbreed. But I do know know they try and mate with goldfish and even pebbles in their enthusiasm, so I suppose anything is possible.
