Tomato blight
For the third year running I have had blight on my gardeners delight, sungold and marmande. battery operated strimmer
Thank you all for your good advice. I am glad I did not go ahead and buy a battery one. I do have an old lawn mower, perhaps I will give that a try, but it will be hard work.

battery powered strimmers
I am thinking of buying a battery powered strimmer for my allotment. Would they be suitable for keeping the grass down on the paths? It is very time consuming getting down on your knees to cut the grass. I would be interested to know if anybody has had any experience with them.

spare wheel
Thank you for your advice. I have just looked on the B&Q website and they have spare wheels for £5.00, saving over £14.00!! I will take my old one with me as the fitting looks different from main. Fingers crossed that it will fit. What a bargain!

raspberries
This might seem like a stupid question, but as my summer fruiting raspberries have not fruited due to the dry weather, should I cut them down as most books suggest as they have not produced any fruit. They are only 2 or 3 years old.
