Next year i am going back...

We had some fantastic orange cherry tomatoes from Tesco over the summer but they didnt label the variety. I can only see 1 variety in the catalogues - SUNGOLD. Anyone have any idea if there are any others? Grew Garden Pearl this year which was very productive but the taste wasnt impressive.

Re: black skins on sweet peppers

Re: 'Organic has no health benefits'
I was very disappointed to read Peter Seabrook's opinion in Amateur Gardening (Aug 8 issue). He says " The steady promotion over recent years of organic principles, raised beds and no-digging is certainly taking its toll. Newcomers to growing-their-own are well advised to follow the long establ...

black skins on sweet peppers
Help! I am a newbie veg gardener. One of the plants that seemed to be doing really well was the sweet peppers until they got a terrific attack of greenfly. Have had to keep respraying them as the flies keep coming back. I have managed to get one plant completely clean (fingers crossed) and its littl...

Re: blueberries
I am also having blueberry trouble. My 3 year old plant seemed to die whilst i was away on holiday in May. I dont know if it dried out but it has also been suggested that a cat may have used it's pot as a toilet as the other blueberry next to it is thriving. All of the leaves have gone brown and fal...
