I discovered a lot of tiny white insects (few mm) on my cos lettuce leaves yesterday. Easy to shake off the leaf they don't appear to fly away but dorp off and they don't seem to be eating the leaves. Do I need to tackle them or just wash off before I eat the lettuce.
