Extendable Hedge Trimmers

I have a very high leylandi hedge which costs us a fortune to cut back every year, what I was hoping that someone could suggest a good telescopic hedge trimmer (preferably cordless) which would do the job.

Thank you

Growers Pellets

Is is OK for fully grown hens to eat Growers pellets as we have 2 grown hens and now 4 8 week old chicks which are out together so therefore they eat each others food. I have lifted the layers pellets and thought that it would be ok for them all to eat the Grower pellets, would this be OK????

What I did once was put tea tree on the bottom area (where the hen tends to pluck) they do not like the taste so they stop (WELL THEY DO FOR A WHILE) but it could work.

How old do they start to crow, we have one that is starting to get a comb and likes to purch high on a plant pot. It is also the more aggressive one so I think it could be a male.

Thank you very much for your replies, I have been on the link and it is very helpfull.

The chicks are the 1st Wellsummers we have had, we have a Orpington and a Speckledy at the moment, but I have heard good reports they say that they are very docile.
