Inundated with parsley...

I too had so much trouble to get parsley to grow from seed. But guess what - it did and now I planted it into my garden and it is thriving. Hope it survives the winter though....

Oh I was just wondering the same question....

now I will use my old potato compost on beds and pots etc. Just one thing though did I read somewhere that no good for tomatoes because they are from the same family - or did I make that up.....

WOW

I have only planted and harvested ordinary garlic and although it was such a lovely strong taste they were quite small.

I think next year I will grow some elephant garlic - when do you plant it - it is in Autumn.

Hooray its been sunny today......

well mostly there was a bit of rain earlier on - but hey nothing compared to what we have had. Fingers crossed for the weekend.

to do our bit and have say a week/month of really being careful re what we throw out/buy etc.

Lets blame Gordy

for the short sell buy dates (particulary M&S)its ridiculous sometimes the sell by date is that day or the next, who can eat the whole thing etc. I am sure its a ploy to get us to throw away food that is perfectly fine and then buy some more - someone here is making a huge profit. Just having a ...

Small shallots

Some of my shallots seem extra small this year, and only 4 to one shallot planted - read elsewhere someone had 17!!!!
