Hi All
Can someone tell me please why i've got more growth on my late spuds than on my earlies please.
They were all planted on the same day, same depth. same conditions ect so unsure of what's happend.

Dear Lizzie, it is probaly to do with the variety of potato rather than being an early or a late.
A lot of the modern varieties have a lot shorter haulm than the old ones.
Some of the really older types had haulms up to four foot long.
Lizzie i have noticed that you and a few others use O.H for your partners, and some other people use O.H for Old Herbaceous. I hope people don't think i'm popping up north on the odd occasion.
Although i suppose it would be quite funny really.

I'm assuming there's OH (Other Half) and dh (darling husband). I think I have both - depending on the topic. Beyond these - there's Old Herbaceous. He's definitely something else!!
