how can I post an avatar by my name?
I am sure I read instructions somewhere but I can't find them now.
I have got my photo stored on my computer so what do I do now?
Help!!!

Go to your profile withing KG Forum and select the option to upload it.
Make sure before doing so that the picture meets the maximum size criteria.

Do not put off thanking people when they have helped you, as they may not be there to thank later.

As you can probably tell I'm new at this computer business. I can do some of the easy stuff, but as soon as it gets tricky I shout for Resident Expert and she soon helps me out.
And that's what happened this time.
The next bit is, how do I put a permanent quote at the bottom of each posting? I tried it on my first one but it just came up as part of the text. HELP again! Regards FatB.
P.S. Resident Expert reckons she doesn't know this one.

Top left of KG Forum home page after you have logged in, click on "profile".
If explorer fills most or all of your screen the lower bit will be brown with "Profile Information" in the top brown bit, scroll down until a white(ish)box with "Signature" to its left is visible.
Type what you want in that box.
Scroll down into the green "Preferences bit and click "Yes" button next to "Always attach my signature.
Scroll dwon to the bottom of the screen into thepink "Avatar control Panel" and click on the "Submit" button.
