What's really worrying is that last night I dreamt about Old Herbaceous.....and the rest of you, too! We were all meeting up at a pub somewhere. Can't remember any more, I'm afraid. Obviously my subconscious was telling me that I'd been away from this site for too long :)
Personally,I still imagine him with a pipe and tweed jacket with leather patches on the elbows.

Finally managed to pop over to Herby's house and get a snap of him to show you all. As you can see, he's quite a pleasant chap really. But, Herby, next time, more modesty, please!!!!

And going back even further into the mists of the Middle Ages---

Nah, it says

"gaudebunt campi, et omnia quae in eis sunt"

"Let the fields rejoice and all that therein is"

It's a Gregorian Chant.

OH
Since we are not allowed mistranslations, here's a bit more from the good book:

31 Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice: and let men say among the nations, The LORD reigneth.

32 Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof: let the fields rejoice, and all that is therein.

33 Then shall the trees of the wood sing out at the presence of the LORD, because he cometh to judge the earth.

I think he will be considerate OH.
He's had problems himself.
You remember the old story.

A man bought a house with an overgrown garden. The weeds had long since taken over the garden and it was a mess. But slowly the man began to clear the weeds, till the soil and plant the seeds. Finally, he had made it into a showcase garden. One day the vicar came to visit, and when he saw the beautiful flowers and plants, he observed, "Well, my friend, you and God have done a splendid job on this garden." To which the gardener replied, "You should have seen it when God was looking after it himself."
