I visited my old Agricultural School yesterday; (things have changed no more smocks, chalk, slate or quills) and noticed that they were grafting tomatoes, a new one on me. Apparently it produces greater cropping over a longer period with more resistance to pests and diseases. Have other forum members tried this method?
Barney, there has beeen some discussion, he says hiding from the sun under a hazel tree & melting, bad time to mow! Use the search link, top right and look for grafted & tomato.
Do not put off thanking people when they have helped you, as they may not be there to thank later.

If seed for rootstock is only available in commercial quantities, perhaps we could try it as a group thingy and share ideas and learn together.
