Panic
Raining heavy here so after a short look around the garden earlier and watering the greenhouse, I settled down to watch the Le Mans 24 hour race which is quite exciting. My wife just came in to say 'should the courgettes be flattened on the ground'?
NOOOOOO Rushed outside and set up an emergency frame using some Figo connectors and canes and wrapped it in fleece.
I had forgotten the wind which is gusting quite strongly.
I hope the first courgette recovers - nothing seems broken but won't know until weather eases. Picked first 2 tiny courgettes off the plant it is variety Piccolo which has small stripy fruits.

Panic over. The big courgette has picked itself up and nothing appears broken. The temporary protection worked well.
