Just been defeated by the weather. Nothing to do in the greenhouse. I've been forced indoors and now I'm at a loss as to what to do! All my sowing's done (except for the seed I haven't got yet.
I can't bear to waste this precious childfree time. Please help!
What can you do when it's raining?

I wish we had been out of it. We collected a 8x6 greenhouse (freecycle) and deposited on the lottie in the pouring rain. As we were already wet we decided to plant 26 asparagus crowns anyway. Then off to home, a roaring fire and rudgy to watch.
The only good thing was at least they didnt need watering in

Aren't you the lucky ones, only getting rain!! As I type, we are having a most horrendous hail storm. One good thing about it is that the hailstones are smaller that the storm we had earlier.

Well, I didn't mention it but it was hailstones too - I'm much too tough to even notice that kind of thing! Talking of putting on the thermal underwear, do you mean to say you've taken it off already? I tried going without it yesterday but it was straight back on again this morning - far too nippy round the sensitive areas!
I pricked out some shoo fly seedlings in the end. They were a little young for it but I'm sure they'll survive. Also known as Nicandra Physaloides. Well, I'm starting to show off now so I'd better go.
