Not sure if 'frost' can be classed as a pest?

Despite earthing up like I've never done before, the tops are growing just too fast, so I've been a bit slack the past week.
Noticed yesterday brown dead dry crumbly leaves on some tips of my early potato 'rocket'.
Looked it up in RHS book, but although says causes extensive cell damage blah, doesn't actually say if it reduces crop...am hoping it won't...but have a feeling the first response will say it will???
Have taken all dead leaves off. Not many actually, just one or two on each plant - will this be enough to halt growth of tubers???
Be bit gutted if so, 1st time for Rocket, 1st time growing in a normal raised bed, instead of heavy clay normal border, 1st time I've planted them and earthed up instead of other half.
Very sad if end up with no potatoes...someone offer me a glimmer of hope!??
