I have a website specially for gardening with children - mainly school based by not exclusively and I provide some free resources for schools to use in the classroom. http://theschoolvegetablepatch.schools.officelive.com/default.aspx

One of the issues I try to tackle is how gardening in school can fit in with the school calendar.

That's great Gallotments, this looks like a cool place for school outings/ visits.

Mike,
I'm trying to get some school examples on my website if your gardening governor is interested in his school featuring - it can be a great opportunity for the children to create a report about their gardening and have it published.

The appropriate page with more information is http://theschoolvegetablepatch.schools.officelive.com/examples.aspx

Mike, you are welcome, Gallotments, that website looks like a good idea.

I used to be a primary teacher and obviously still have lots of primary teachers as friends and they seem to find it useful.
