Been a busy little Piglet in the beautiful sunshine today.

Sowed small quantities of all the following things:-

rocket
spinach
leeks
carrots
spring onions
strawberries (plants)
peas
courgette
french beans
tomato (seeds - in little propogator to live in the shed)
runner beans
radishes
salad leaves
oh, and some sweet peas :)

I still have some more things to sow, like parsnips & beetroot.

Also bought 2 sweet pepper plants yesterday. These will be living in the shed at night time (along with some of the above sowings), and on the sunny patio during the day.

Dear Piglet6, i'm very impressed regarding the sowing of small amounts, it took most of us 15 years to get to that stage, and some haven't even managed to do it yet. :)

Impressive list but there are a fair few on it I wouldn't have tried yet a while.

oh, the runner beans, french beans, peas, peppers, tomatoes, courgettes have been tucked away in the shelter of the shed overnight. they will stay in there until they start to poke through the soil and then I'll start putting them on the sunny patio by day. If we have gorgeously warm weather at the weekends I may put them out in the sun to warm, but only if I'm going to be at home to keep an eye on them.

Beyond that, they've got 2 chances.
