Please cross your fingers for me....

Apart from mad sleepover (see earlier post) I am not sleeping well just now. Have a pain in my arm the same as the one I had two years ago just before I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Going to the hospital on Monday to get it checked out. I am so frightened. Don't know what I'll do if it has come back. Sorry to be so gloomy - can't talk about it too much to family as they worry so much. Please cross your fingers for me......

Dear Haggis, no wonder you are worried, so let's hope it is just something simple, and indeed i will keep my fingers crossed for you.
It's the waiting and not knowing that is the toughest bit, so my thoughts are with you, and wish you well for Monday.
Just try and keep positive, although i know it's not easy at times.
A lot of my wifes family have been down this route, so i know what you must be going through.

Fingers crossed here for you Haggis
Thank you all for your kind words. I was really down when I wrote the post but a day at the plot and in the greenhouse has restored my spirits a bit. I am going to pour myself a large blackcurrant gin (had a glut of berries last year
) now in the hope that it will knock me out tonight. One way or the other it will be a relief to get tomorrow over and done with.

Fingers and toes crossed for you Haggis, hope all goes well for you
Sit down before a fact as a little child, be prepared to give up every preconcieved notion, follow humbly wherever and to whatever abyss nature leads, or you shall learn nothing.

Once again, thank you all for your messages of support. You have no idea how much they have helped. I had loads of tests done at the hospital today and have been given the all clear. It was unbelievably stressful and I feel quite sick with relief now but very, very happy.
