I think a lot of us are being conned by the "Local Produce" labelling. In my view unless a product has been 100% grown/reared, processed and packaged in the "local" area, it shouldn't be allowed to be labelled as such.
At least for the limited supply of fruit and veg we're able to grow ourselves we can be pretty sure that it's "local", although I wouldn't like to hazard a guess where my chicken manure pellets originate from! (Or don't they count ?)

Dear Primrose, regarding your chicken manure pellets, they probably originate from the Parsons nose.
