Is it too early to plant chitted potatoes in compost bags in a unheated greenhous, or should I wait a little longer, lancasire area.

Hello Brenjohn
I planted some chitted seed potatoes in one of my large frames about 10 days ago. I do have a small paraffin heater and a sheet of thick fleece ready though just in case we get a hard frost one night.
I think that its a chance worth taking as it is so good to have your own really early potatoes - hopefully sometime in May. Some years you will win but some years the frost will beat you but it if you like a challenge then give it a go.
