sowing leeks

just wondering if I'd be ok to sow leeks outside as my teeny weeny greenhouse is full up and so are my windowsills! will it be too cold for it to germinate? :? what do you reckon? I read the previous thread about leeks but still confused!!!!!! :roll:

Mine are in a cold greenhouse, starting to show ok, min temp in there has been about three degrees last week, so worth a go I think!

Have a look at this link, it has a table of germination temps for some crops:

I did have a far better table that was based upon scientific research but cant find it just now. If I do find I will post it back up.
