So, where's everyone else heading this year?

My husband has got thousands of Air Miles accumulated from his business flying days but I have an almost pathalogical hatred of flying, so I expect we'll be holidaying in this country.
We're fortunate enough to have a modest holiday base down in East Sussex so I expect we'll be heading off down there fairly regularly. No airport delays, no lost baggage, no security check, no huge fees for airport parking. Bliss

Seefeld in Austria for me in June
We went last year in the middle of June and it was freezing cold and very wet, so this year we are going a fortnight earlier just to see if it can possibly be colder and wetter
Lots of long walks, coffee shops, and plenty of good food
Might even get the train to Mittenwald.

Ours is in Florida, so that will be us doing the delays, lost luggage, security queues and of course enjoying the overwhelmingly welcoming greeting that we always get as we arrive with our hard earned money to spend! Sorry, I dreamt that last bit - always feel like a criminal when we arrive, but fortunately the actual residents are more welcoming.

Yorkshire Dales, as usual, in other words - home, like Alan! We tend to stick to day trips nowadays and, as we are more outside than in most of the time anyway, we are quite content. And as day trips can include either the east or west coast or the Lake District, the scope is great!

I'm hoping to get last minute tickets for the Glastonbury Festival and will go with my two boys and meet up with my wacky friends and we'll all camp together. Get to see some fantastic music, great company and Lizzie will get to rock
Got a load of holiday brochures so are looking through. I would like Sardinia or Morrocco. Also got the chance to go to America and stay with friends there in Atlanta and California, then maybe on up to Colorado too.
At the moment, could end up anywhere although I feel the Hebrides calling me

My allotment, if at all possible!!!
I have been doing two jobs recently, so time to do exactly what
I want is in short supply.
I haven't told the OH that I have arranged to take time off work over half-term, because he would have us booked onto some freezing cold campsite in the motor home if he knew, and that really isn't my idea of fun, especially at this time of year.
Not sure how long I can keep it a secret, though. Of course, if the weather is good, I could just go off to the lottie every morning and let him think that I am going to work as usual!
