I have just ordered a raised bed from http://www.woodblocx.co.uk. The chap was really helpful and sent me a free sample box in the post upon request. The Wood is good quality but the only thing I am thinking about is how easy it is to build with.

Has anyone built a raised bed or planter with WoodblocX do I need to get a builder in to help me?

Afternoon Bob, i've never used them but, i would think the most important thing with them, will be to start with a level base so everything lines up.

Good luck, Bob the WoodblocX Builder. :)

I have some beds boxed, but now I make my new raised beds without boxes then I can plant the sloping sides as well as the tops, mulched with straw/ dried plants/ and non seeding weeds the rain doesn't wash the soil away and I plant through the mulch, it helps keep moisture in during drought too, and because the soil is moist any weeds that get past the mulch pull out very easily.
