Gardeners' Film Club

As a change from the heavy stuff that I keep getting involved in on the forum, here are a few films which might appeal to gardeners over these long dark nights:
Back To The Fuschia starring Michael J. Foxglove
The Compost Man Always Rings Twice
Gone With The Windowbox starring Lawn Green, Patrick Mower & Victor Manure
Three Weedings & A Bonfire
The Germinator
The Eagle Has Landed On The Bird Table
Some Like It Hot, But Most Prefer Some Shade, Perhaps By A Wall, What Do You Think Bob Flowerdew?
Any more suggestions? And some books might be a good idea.

Morning Alan, that is just what we needed to lighten things up a little, and put a much needed smile on my face.
The forum is indeed getting bogged down with heavy stuff.

I have to agree with these sentiments - to be honest it is one reason that I have visited the forum less frequently than I used to. Even 'innocent' threads often seem to become heavy going.

20,000 Leeks under the Sea.
The Gardener who came in from the Cold.
Monty Don and the Holey Pail. (A modern remake of the old Monty Python production!)
One inspired by the unsociable people who 'exercise' their dogs on our allotments:
Close Encounters of the Turd Kind.
